In 2011, Santos became the eighth pitcher in White Sox history to record 30 saves, going 4-5 with a 3.55 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 63 appearances in relief.

Miami Herald Sports Buzz writer Barry Jackson reported Sunday that the Marlins “haven’t ruled out trading a player (certainly not a key one)” for Guillen, “but would prefer not to.”
